Data Viewer

E-metering provides customers of water companies with the facility to login to a website and view flow data from various meter locations.
Customers can log in and view meter readings, logger data, consumption and relevant billing information. Data and reports can be saved and/or printed to their local systems. Administrators can upload relevant files to be viewed by a customer and control the data shown.

Meter Reading

Asset information for revenue meter stock can be stored to assist maintenance and locating. Storage of individual meter uncertainty for further calculations. Expected volume change held to help identify spurious meter readings.
Manual entry and bulk import of meter readings provided. Precise details of time and date of read, who read the meter and the reading type are stored. Validation rules applied to meter readings to check for suspect and sequence errors. The current status of each reading is displayed. Daily volume between readings indicated. Original readings stored for reference. Visual representation of meter reading data and derived readings. Interactive editing of meter readings from the chart.

Meter Verification

Key information relating to flow meters can be stored. The scoring tool allows users to utilise both static (e.g. meter type) and dynamic (e.g. number of meter faults) information about a meter to attribute a numeric score. Users can customise scoring questions and answers, including how total scores are calculated.
Flexible ranking of scoring results allow prioritised list of meters that may require replacement. Balance areas allow combinations of meter flows to be reviewed for the purposes of understanding and monitoring. Detailed mass balance analysis can be reviewed to understand the balance result in terms of overall imbalance and/or balance % during the day or during the leakage night window. Site visit records relating to meter verification are able to be reviewed for the purposes of a trend in range or offset errors over time. The current (and historic) overall uncertainty surrounding the meter can be reviewed. Reference to the manufacturer’s performance data allows current flow to determine whether the meter is correctly sized, and operating at the optimal level of accuracy.
