Efficient pressure management is the key to reducing leakage and enhancing network reliability for your organisation.

DG2 Reporting

Sites can be defined as DG2 monitoring to be analysed for potential failures at company reference levels and Ofwat reporting levels. Incidents are recorded in a register and users can review to determine genuine issues or mitigating exclusion reasons.
The calculation of the incidents takes into account all DG2 sites, and a full audit trail of user interventions is recorded. Details surrounding the lowest pressure, length of incident and the number of properties affected can all be stored.

Pressure Management

PMA are checked to confirm availability, allowing an instant summary view of PMA performance. Warnings are presented when the data streams deviate from set levels or profiles. Key Details about PMA can be stored and reviewed, including a history of schemes in one place. The cost of water supplying the PMA is stored to feed into economic review. Charts of all data (flow and pressure) within a PMA can be produced, including a Total Head chart for headloss review. Current and historic valve settings can be reviewed. Detailed control profiles and target points can be referenced.
Reference to the manufacturer’s performance data allows current flow and pressures to determine whether the valve is operating correctly and is correctly sized. Multiple options for a pressure scheme can be evaluated and compared. Options for different target points, other control methods or civil engineering costs are taken into account. Cost saving curves allow the user to define other benefits of the PMA scheme to reduce payback periods. A PMA calculation process is provided which utilises existing leakage calculation methodology to ensure consistency in results. Calculation of pressure schemes and options to understand predicted pressures and savings, including the payback period. Daily tracking of current pressure and leakage results against a reference is carried out.
